Sylvan Elf
He nimbly treks along the treetops, tracking the bandits stalking through his home. He pauses, needle bodkin knocked, shoulders flex to bring fletching to cheek, the warbow launches the arrow into the back of the ruffian before the man knew he was there. Gliding away, magic spirals from his fingertips, bringing branches to bear, bludgeoning the man's compatriots. As they cry out in fear and pain, he knocks another arrow.
He is a sylvan elf. An elf of balance and natural order. His power comes from her understanding of the world, his connection with the land, and his timeless nature. He can master both weapons and magic, matching the greatest warriors and magus in addition to benefiting from the unqiue skills and abilities of his species.

Only Primal magic can Charm, Control, summon, or banish you, or restore your mind (see Magic Mastery, Connected Form). All other magic affects you normally.

Ambidextrous. You have otherworldly coordination and dexterity. You have Dominance on Athletics skill trials.
Priscan Magic
Level 1
You can cast priscan spells. You have a number of Magan, or spell points, equal to half your Perception score (rounded down). For each Perception Tier up to your current tier, roll the corresponding tier die and add the result. Each time your Perception Tier increases, roll the new tier die and add it to your magan. You recover magan through rest and sustenance (see Resting).
Each spell you cast reduces your available magan by the spell's magan cost.
- The DC of your spells is equal to your Mastery Level + your Perception Tier (maximum 14).
Training. You are trained by an elder sylvan elf of at least Expert mastery or higher. At level one, when you select your Untrained forms, your mentor teaches you two spells. When you first reach Basic mastery in any form, your mentor teaches you an additional spell. When you first reach Skilled mastery in any form, your mentor teaches you a final spell.
Spell Acquisition. You can also discover new spells at fonts of priscan magic. You meditate at the font, burning ritual components worth magan² ss to absorb the magic through your bloodline. Internalizing a spell takes 1 day per magan. Your spells manifest as luminous runes and patterns on your skin, visible to anyone trained to read them. See the Magic Mastery chapter, Spell Sources and Discovery.
